Product Description

Thomas Kinkade's Snow White Discovers the Cottage is the first of the 12 part Disney Dreams Collection which is authorized and licensed by Disney Productions. Snow White Discovers the Cottage by Thomas Kinkade was released in August 2008, Snow White Discovers the Cottage sold out and doubled in value in just six months! At that time, it was the fastest sold out piece in Thomas Kinkade's 25 years as a published artist.

Thomas Kinkade's Pinocchio Wishes Upon a Star was the second release in the Disney Dreams collection and came out in February 2009 and sold out in just 3 months (twice as fast as Snow White). Thomas Kinkade's "Tinkerbell and Peter Pan Fly to Neverland" was the third Disney Dreams installment and was released in June 2009 which sold out in just 72 hours. Thomas Kinkade's "Cinderella Wishes Upon a Dream" was the 4th Disney Dreams piece released in September 2009 and again sold out in just 72 hours. It has just been annouced that Thomas Kinkade's fifth release will be Bambi set for March 2010.

Thomas Kinkade's Snow White Discovers the Cottage has been described as his best cottage piece ever. Fans marvel at the amazing lighting effects which take place when you dim the lights on the piece. If you look carefully, you'll actually see some of the shadowed effects of light beaming in across the forest. There are 7 hidden Mickey Mouse ears representing the 7 dwarfs and don't forget about the castle in the background. The animals greet Snow White as she fawns on the peaceful cottage.

Walt Disney Procuctions actually encouraged Thomas Kinkade to study original Disney drawings of Snow White. While doing so, Thomas Kinkade noticed that these original drawings featured a waterfall by the cottage. However, there was no waterfall in the movie. Disney informed Thom that because Snow White was Walt Disney's first movie, budget and time constraints forced Disney to have to forego the waterfall to help keep costs and production time limited. Upon seeing this opportunity, Thomas Kinkade chose to include the waterfall, how it was originally meant to be.

Since Thomas Kinkade's Snow White Discovers the Cottage was his first Disney Dreams release, the demand for it is incredible. Fans have volunteered to pay up to three times the original release price. Demand has been so high that our galleries have actually called customers who purchased this piece and offered them over $500 from what they initially paid. Our galleries are one of the only Thomas Kinkade Signature Galleries left which still have Thomas Kinkade's Snow White and his other Disney Dreams Collection series available. However, this won't last for long so we recommend you move fast or you might be left just holding a glass slipper.

In addition to Thomas Kinkade's Snow White Discovers the Cottage, he has also released Pinocchio Wishes Upon a Star, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan Fly to Neverland, Cinderella WIshes Upon a Dream, and for March of 2010, Thomas Kinkade will release Bambi as the fifth of th 12 part Disney Dreams Series.

Other possible Thomas Kinkade Disney Dreams future pieces in the works (but not definate at this time): Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Lion King, Lady & the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh, Fantasia, Alice in Wonderland, and the Jungle Book, Thomas Kinkade is on schedule to release two Disney Dreams pieces a year.
