Thomas Kinkade’s Disney paintings are among his best selling pieces in history. Since the first release in 2005, we have seen the demand continue to grow. “Disneyland 50th Anniversary” and “New Day at Cinderella’s Castle” were just the start of the Kinkade-Disney relationship.

Once Disney saw the great potential Thomas Kinkade had for depicting the parks, they asked him to do a 12 part series titled “The Disney Dreams Collection.” This series started off with the much beloved “Snow White Discovers the Cottage.”

Since then, 8 more have been released and we are only 3 away from completing the series.

In 2009, Disney asked Thomas Kinkade to create a masterwork based on the new hand-animated movie “The Princess and the Frog.” This started a separate series titled “Disney Discovers Collection.” So far, “The Princess and the Frog” is the only release within this series.

Thomas Kinkade is expected to start releasing a new series starting in the Fall of 2012 based on classic Disney theme park attractions. Pirates of the Caribbean is speculated to be the first release in this series. Pirates of the Caribbean the ride opened up in Disneyland in 1967 and has become a staple franchise of Disney leading to the hit movies staring Johnny Depp. We expect Johnny Depp’s character Jack Sparrow to take a prominent role in the painting as well. Stay on the look out for this release because we expect it to sell out extremely fast.
Thomas Kinkade’s newest release is “Gazebo of Prayer.” This is the 4th painting in the “Garden of Prayer” Series.

“Gazebo of Prayer” is a stunning masterwork with vibrant, colorful flowers and trees throughout the composition. It compliments the other paintings in the series perfectly. “Gazebo of Prayer” is more limited than most other Thomas Kinkade limited edition canvases. It is only available in 2 sizes: 18×27, and 24×36. Less than 1500 are available in all sizes and all proofs. Don’t let this one slip away, because it will not be available for very long.

In my heart, gazebos are truly peaceful places. To my artistic eye, this gazebo is a perfect place for those seeking a time of reverent renewal and a moment of solitude to be with their God. The trees soften the light to create harmonies of shadow and color enhancing the viewer’s experience. One can smell the fragrant floral aromas gently drifting in this small sanctum of solitude. The birds happily sing in the trees as if they were a church choir praising the creator and thanking Him for the grace given to this heavenly garden. The spirit of our Lord fills every moment if we take the time to simply look, listen and allow His presence to fill our hearts and provide guidance. Join me in the “Gazebo of Prayer” where we can connect with providence often lost in hectic, everyday life. God Bless.
One of Thomas Kinkade’s most popular type of paintings are cottage scenes. He has consistently created beautiful cottages throughout his career.

“Rosebud Cottage” is a vibrant, colorful, cottage scene based on an English countryside. A lot of his cottages are based on his travels with his wife through England.
“Nanette’s Cottage” is a painting dedicated to his wife, Nanette. In there travels through England, Nanette mentioned wanting to live in this particular home, so Thom decided to immortalize it with oil and canvas.

One of the best selling cottages in recent years has been “Stillwater Cottage.” This composition is completely sold out from the manufacturer, but we still have a good selection in our gallery of various sizes and proofs.
Thomas Kinkade’s Courageous Voyage was released April 1, 2011. Courageous Voyage by Thomas Kinkade is an incredible masterpiece capturing all the facets of God’s ocean including the ferociousness, beauty and calm all in one painting.

This Limited Edition canvas is also available in a canvas wrap. The canvas wraps have become extremely popular over the last couple years, and the Kinkade Company has done a great job at keeping up with the trend.

Thomas Kinkade spent hours upon hours of work on Courageous Voyage, putting in the detail of the ship, sunset, and seas. Thomas Kinkade’s Courageous Voyage looks magnificent under the light and upon dimming the lights, you’ll see an incredible transformation of the sunset and ocean. The detail Thomas Kinkade put in the rig and its sails also allows us to capture a moment in history. Anyone familiar with the seas knows how calm the ocean can be and the beautiful moving sound of the waives and foam. Thomas Kinkade created an amazing treasure in Courageous Voyage by allowing collectors to not only admire the ocean but also to fear it as well. The waves create that entire atmosphere. This is truly the painting for all of those who love the ocean and wish to capture some history as well. Courageous Voyage by Thomas Kinkade is clearly his best seascape painting yet and makes us appreciate the beauty, tranquility and peace of God’s oceanic world. In Thom’s words:

“The ocean has always affected me profoundly. Encompassed within its imposing expanse, history, challenge, and opportunity have each left their indelible mark. Throughout time, men of courage and substance defiantly faced its omnipotence with dreams of fortune and a better life and so set sail to hope. Shakespeare immortalized the significance of this great expanse when he eloquently connected the fortunes of men with the sea’s deliberate tides. He penned that, “There is a tide in the affairs of men. Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat, and we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures. Yet, despite its promise of fruitful ventures, the ocean is replete with challenge, mystery, and danger. Only courage and an abiding faith that tomorrow will bring a new day filled with its own destiny, steel men with the courage to push through its menace. What a powerful metaphor for life. There is a tide rooted in providence and faith that governs the affairs of man. Like the ocean, it is a tide equally predisposed to serenity as to overwhelming swells. Only through courage and faith in providence do we push ahead towards the promise of a better tomorrow, to a new dawn, to hope and opportunity. What a powerful canvas is the sea!”
Warner Brothers Studios recruited Thomas Kinkade to be the official artist of some of the most beloved classic films in American history. The first one of the series is “The Wizard of Oz,” and is titled “Dorothy Discovers the Emerald City.” It depicts the main characters as they are able to see the Emerald City for the first time.

The second one in the Warner Brothers series is “Gone with the Wind.” Thomas Kinkade does an amazing job at bringing the full movie into one image. He brings out the romance between Rhett and Scarlett in the foreground, while bringing the “Old South” to life in the background.

The next one in the series is scheduled to be released this year and we are expecting it to be another “Wizard of Oz” painting. Since “The Wizard of Oz” has so many terrific scenes and fantasic set design, Warner Brothers Studios wants Thom to complete a series of paintings dedicated to this one movie.
Thomas Kinkade’s “Walk of Faith” was released in April of 2011 just in time for Easter. Bright, vibrant colors create a heavenly setting for Jesus and Peter to walk through. “Walk of Faith” took Thom many years to complete. He kept it in his studio and would work on it a little bit at a time. Pat Kinkade, Thoms brother, and other family members felt that it was spectacular and should be released, but Thom did not share the same feeling. He wanted “Walk of Faith” to be one of his most powerful paintings ever released, so he expected it to be perfect. He finally decided it was time to publish it in 2011. We are all excited that he decided to wait because, as you can see, “Walk of Faith” is a stunning spiritual masterwork.

“I remember seeing a painting of a similar subject in a church as I was growing up and the image has always stuck with me. Perhaps I realized then that this was my chance to create a composition reinterpreting this scene. Here we see Jesus strolling comfortably with Peter. In his hands, Peter holds the symbolic keys to God’s kingdom. What truths and insights could they be sharing? How marvelous to have the chance to listen in on the kind and insightful words of the Savior as He patiently shares wisdom with those He loves.”
Thomas Kinkade’s “Gone With the Wind” was released in late December 2011. Warner Brothers who owns the rights to this film first recruited Thomas Kinkade to paint the Wizard of Oz with full intentions of also having Thomas Kinkade paint Gone with the Wind. Since 2010, Thomas Kinkade has been planning and sketching different ideas for his Gone with the wind painting and he is still working on it.

Thomas Kinkade describes his Gone with the Wind painting best by stating:

” Romeo and Juliet. Anthony and Cleopatra. History is filled with couples bound together forever in the social mind because of their undeniable and storied relationships. As it was with these others…so it is with Rhett and Scarlett. Indeed, to me, there has been no greater romance ever chronicled than that of the dashing hero and strong-willed heroine of “GONE WITH THE WIND” Perhaps it is the tragic backdrop of the Civil War that serves to enhance the emotional impact of this storied love affair. The ultimate triumph of the human spirit, so well displayed in the film’s masterful conclusion kindles the romantic within me…as it can within you.
In my painting, Gone With The Wind, I wanted to capture this central romance but also give a small taste of the gentile old south. Fragrant flowers and lush rolling hills surround Tara, the homestead of the O’Hara family, and serve as quiet sentinels to this way of life. My painting is populated with favorite film characters and rendered in small cinematic vignettes designed to capture all of the drama and nostalgia of this Hollywood spectacular. I truly hope this painting delights all fans of GONE WITH THE WIND. Beyond this, I pray it reminds us all that true love does exist. ”
